Challenging and Confusing Behaviors in Neurodivergent Children – Sarajevo 2026

I was fortunate to present at a workshop in Sarajevo last Saturday, organised for parents, professionals, and educators on the topic of challenging and confusing behaviours in neurodivergent children and adults with autism and other diverse needs.

One of the key messages I shared is that all behaviour makes sense. In order to truly support autistic and neurodivergent individuals, we need to begin with understanding and supporting the nervous system first. Regulation, connection, and safety are at the core of meaningful support.
