Autism and Activities

Just finished an online meeting with the parents of 5 years old autistic boy. I talked a lot about the activities and doing them together. Very often I see that parents are confused when a child doesn’t want to engage or do a task and they don’t know what their role is and what their child’s role is. They don’t know where to start from and most importantly they don’t know how to set up an objective. The activity is not that important. What is important is the goal behind the activity. What are you working on? I’m so passionate about RDI because you can learn how to set up an activity and how to help your child to become successful in the activity and to achieve the goal.
