Hi, I am Andreja
My purpose is to help parents of children with autism and other diverse needs, neurodivergent individuals and educators to live their greatest life possible through my teaching, coaching, and writing.
I have been working in the Neurodiversity field for over 15 years and currently I work as a certified RDI consultant (Relationship Development Intervention) for families and educators. I’m also the founder of Autism & Neurodiversity Consulting Ltd and I truly enjoy supporting and guiding parents and educators on their journey.
I strongly believe that every parent and every person around neurodivergent individuals needs more support and education to be able to connect and guide atypical individuals through this dynamic world.
My approach is holistic, incorporated with a positive mindset and mindfulness, and I take every neurodivergent individual and I tailor the training based on his strengths and obstacles. I teache neurotypical people how to guide their child, or student, or a college to seek out and succeed in truly reciprocal relationships, while addressing key core issues such as motivation, communication, emotional regulation, episodic memory, rapid attention-shifting, self-awareness, appraisal, executive functioning, flexible thinking and creative problem solving.
Connecting with and supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families and communitas has led me to experience unprecedented joy, as well as a sense of purpose in my work. Watching them grow and learning alongside them, as well as having a role in improving society’s perception and treatment of neurodivergent people is why I truly love my job. I always work with consideration of my core values, integrity, respect, consistency and accountability.
I have conducted several workshops and webinars over the years to educate parents, educators and companies about special education, RDI (Relationship Development Intervention), Mindset and Mindfulness. I’m also collaborating with doctors, clinics and other professionals who are around neurodivergent individuals.

My Background
I have a Master’s degree in Education. My career began as a primary and secondary teacher, and I was fortunate at the time to teach in inclusion. As a young teacher, I had the great opportunity to teach one autistic student who opened my mind and expanded my world in ways I never thought possible.
Around this time, I also started working in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and decided to study ABA with the Florida Institute of Technology. While this experience immensely expanded my knowledge of Autism, I still felt that something was missing. I was immediately drawn to RDI, Relationship Development Intervention (www.rdiconnect.com) when I first encountered it in 2019, and felt it was the perfect programme which combined my knowledge and experience from working with children with special needs and their families. I studied with RDIConnect Houston, and was taught by Dr Gutstein and Dr Sheely (the founders of RDI®) throughout my training.
In 2024 I completed the PDA (Patological Demand Avoidance) North America Level 1 Certificate Programme.
I was also fortunate to study yoga and mindfulness for neurodiversity with the amazing teachers Shawnee Thornton Hardy and Gurmukh. I have always been interested in the human mind, and the importance of positive thinking and mindfulness. These days I always make sure to incorporate positive thinking in my work. I deliver yoga classes both 1:1 or group classes. These practices have impacted and improved the lives of many of my clients, which makes me feel incredibly fulfilled and happy.
Teaching Yoga and Mindfulness to neurodivergent people is something I love doing both within my work and also outside of it.
My favourite thing to do is spending time with my family and friends. I also love meditating and reading. My hobbies include going to the gym, running, hiking, and dancing.
